Before resigning from my full-time career in 2021, my professional network was strong, very strong. I attended conferences multiple times a year, I was active in local professional groups and organizations, and I stayed connected with past colleagues. I felt supported and was constantly learning and evolving through these connections. However, once I resigned, that began to shift. As we kick off 2024, and all the exciting new opportunities it may bring, I'm reflecting on my current network, what it’s taken to build it, and what I need to do to strengthen it moving forward.
