Season 1 - Like 47 million other Americans, I voluntarily left my successful full-time career to pursue, well, whatever was next. We’ll call this “my great resignation.” As you get to know me, you’ll see that I’m a type A planner. So to make a life choice without some grand detailed master plan on the other side was unheard of. But now, 2 years later, it was the best decision of my life. Join me as I share my story, questions I asked myself (or wish I had), missteps I made (and how to avoid them), the effect this had on me and everyone around me, and other musings that helped me to become my stronger me.

The Athlete Mindset
In the last episode, I shared information about the Stronger in Mind 30-day challenge that begins at the beginning of next month. I shared that whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, this challenge will equip you with the tools you need to excel both on and off the field. Since the release of that episode, I’ve gotten quite a few questions from my listeners asking whether or not they would benefit from the challenge if they aren’t athletes. The question was intriguing to me because these were adults who run 5k’s, 10k’s, half-marathons, and Iron Man races. In my mind, they trained like athletes and ran in competitive races. Yet, they didn’t consider themselves athletes. This got me thinking about the definition of an athlete and the athlete mindset.
