In this episode, I sit down with Lydia Radcliffe, a dedicated soccer coach and former collegiate athlete, whose journey has come full circle. Lydia began her soccer career at Chapelgate Christian Academy before going on to play Division I soccer at Charleston Southern University, where she developed her skills and passion for the game.

After college, Lydia transitioned into coaching, serving as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Maryland. Her experiences both on the field and on the sidelines have equipped her with a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of athletes at all levels. Now, Lydia is back at her alma mater, leading the varsity girls' soccer team at Chapelgate Christian Academy, where she is committed to developing not just strong athletes but well-rounded young women.

Lydia shares her story, insights on coaching, and the lessons she's learned about leadership, resilience, and creating a positive team culture. She also discusses the importance of nurturing athletes' mental and emotional well-being, drawing on her experiences as both a player and a coach.
