What does it take to compete at the highest levels of soccer, transition into leadership beyond the game, and continue inspiring others decades later?

In this episode, Coach Nassim sits down with Therese Wolden Cooper, one of the most accomplished players in James Madison University (JMU) women's soccer history.

A native of Norway, Therese helped transform the JMU women's soccer program into a national contender during one of the most successful eras in its history. An explosive attacking player, she finished her collegiate career among the program's all-time leaders in goals, assists, and points, earning multiple conference honors while helping lead the Dukes to NCAA Tournament appearances and conference championships. Her impact on the program was so significant that she was selected for induction into the James Madison University Athletics Hall of Fame.

After her playing career, Therese continued to make an impact through coaching, leadership, and mentoring, carrying the lessons she learned on the field into every stage of life.

Whether you're an athlete, coach, parent, or simply someone striving to become your stronger self, Therese's story is a powerful reminder that the greatest victories often extend far beyond the game.
